A few things before you begin.

How long can I use Starix PDF Free?

As long as you like. Install it and start reading and annotating; sign in when you want to try or buy Pro.

What is the difference between Starix PDF Free and Pro?

Free includes reading, search, printing, highlights and sticky notes. Pro adds existing text editing, page organization, OCR, forms, redaction, signing and export.

Can I still open my files after the trial?

Yes. When the trial ends, Starix PDF returns to Free: keep reading and annotating, and your files stay where you saved them.

Are my PDFs uploaded to the cloud?

Core PDF processing runs on your Windows computer, so your PDFs stay on your computer.

Do I need a subscription?

Choose Monthly, Annual or a one-time Lifetime license; all three include the same Pro features. Lifetime gives permanent use of the major version you buy. Cancel a subscription anytime on your account page: select Manage billing. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

How many devices can one account use?

Every plan covers one personal account on up to 3 personal devices at the same time. To switch to a new device, select Release device on your account page, then sign in on the new device.
